so my bracket has gone bust. i have no real desire to watch tonite's game, other than morbid curiosity. the two women's games last night were far better than saturday's mens game. i will watch tennessee and stanford on tuesday. should be a great game. now on to the important stuff. gary, this one is for you. i made whoopie pies for the first time last night, and man are they good. i felt a little sick after power eating several at once. i think they will be a keeper. for those of you that are unfamiliar with this epicurian wonder, whoopie pies consist of two small chocolate cakes "stuck" together with a marshmallow/sugar /butter/ cream like substance. when i was at penn state last fall, there was an amish lady selling them at the farmer's market. after slamming one down, i bought 20 more from her. it was mildly embarrasing, but worth it. i'm heading east next week, and her farmer's market stall will be my first stop, of course. i hope she is spending a lot of time in the kitchen this week, because she is going to make a fortune off of me next week.
