they said it couldnt be done. they said it wouldnt be done. they said a lot of things, and i ignored them all. three years ago tomorrow, i opened meeteetse chocolatier! three years, not bad for a dumb rodeo cowboy. we've come a long way. from being open only on saturdays in a tiny tiny store to re-opening the merc, and being open seven days a week year round. i should have taken all those bets three years ago. there are those who do, and those who complain about those who do. i am proud of my crazy little store, and i cant wait to see what the next three years hold. now, on to the good stuff. meeteetse chocolatier only has a sale once a year. so, this weekend all truffle brownies will be on sale for $2.00. not too shabby. next weekend all truffles will be $1.00 each. of course, flavors are limited to whats on hand and the sale is for in store purchases only. blah blah blah. anyway, i am thrilled to be marking this milestone. there were some rough times, and a ton of great times. the rough times seem funny now, time heals all wounds. i am truely thankful to all of my customers who took a chance on me, and remained loyal. thank you thank you thank you.
