this has been a very busy week. treking home from bend, getting caught up at the ranch, and replenishing my empty cases at the store. and now, CU is on. which means nothing more will get done tonight. there is a famous quote .......... " it is impossible to enjoy idling thoroughly unless one has plenty of work to do." jerome k. jerome.     thats to the point.  its hard to believe that the NFR is only a few weeks away. and after the NFR, there are only a few weeks until my favorite time of the year...........the national western stock show!! i cannot wait. nothing beats spending two weeks on the hill and in the yards. non stop beef and beer. if you have never attended this epic event, you must put it on your to do list. check out nationalwestern.com for details. two weeks of PRCA and PBR rodeos, stock shows and concerts at the grizzly rose. all told, i think there are 23 PRCA rodeos during the stock show. not bad. denver in january is always a good time.
