the grand opening was a success. almost everyone that came through the front door exclaimed  "its warm"! that should be my new slogan. yes, the old store was a bit on the cool side, but  we now are nice and warm. the new dessert bar is great. a lot of prople treated themselves to a great dessert. we now offer organic teas and coffee to go with the desserts. we make belgian hot chocolate too. we melt down chunks of belgian milk chocolate for this thick and rich drink. and it can be topped off with our handmade whipped cream and/or one of our own handmade marshmallows. not a bad way to treat yourself on a winter day. the move is almost complete. al least i still have a few days left to get the rest of the boxes over here. i am gratefull to everyone that helped with the move and renovations. gary built a very cool barnwood bar for the dessert bar, and my brother and parents did some serious painting. the front and back walls now look like milk chocolate. so far, no one has tried to lick them....
