well, here we go. the NFR starts in less than 48 hours. my brother is already in vegas, he sucks. my friends lynnette and russ are on their way to vegas, they suck too. i was hoping to go for a few rounds, but, i have too much to do. oh well. christmas in meeteetse is this weekend. there are a lot of events planned for friday and saturday. we are having an open house here on saturday, and an artist's reception saturday night. should be a good time. the museum is having their annual holiday auction saturday as well. several years ago, i made a gingerbread double wide for the auction. i dont think they thought it was as cool as i did. it didnt raise too much money. $30 i think. anyone can make a gingerbread house, but only a few can create a double-wide out of gingerbread. it had a wood pile and out house around the back, tires on the roof, and even astroturf!! plus, it was entirely edible! i guess whats funny to me is annoying to everyone else. i liked it, and thats all that matters, right?
