FINALLY!! how long did we have to wait for the start of the NFR tonight? that was frustrating waiting for that playoff to end so that the NFR could start. i am really impatient when it comes to televised rodeo. anyway, round three is on. bareback went well. bobby mote's ride was not viewed as smooth by the judges. but thats how the game goes. bulldogging is on deck. everyone seems to be setteling down now. it usually takes a round or two to settle everyone. they may be calming down, but they are staying aggressive. wyoming boy jason miller takes round 3 of the NFR bulldogging. congrats. team ropings on. this is an impressive event. the times are faster than my horse can blink. rowdy is more of a grazer than a heeler. the tryans are really dominating the NFR again. good thing they are montanians. here come the bronc riders. so far, so good. with the exception of jeffery willert. he is out for about 6 months after last nights wreck. this pen of horses is very strong. the kind that make the riders look good. if you can make the markout on these, you have won half the battle. jesse bail is up. he is an amazing roughstock cowboy. he usually competes in bulls and bronces at the finals. issac diaz just made apicture perfect ride. excellent spurring, nice rythym. the problem with rides like that, they make it look easy, and the score reflects that. tie down roping is fun to watch. there is so much to focus on in that event. and to win you need to be sub 8. eneb though we are three rounds in, there are still secven left. there is a lot of ground to cover. with seven bulls, horses or calfs left, anything can hapen, and anyone can win. another great round , and a lot to look forward to.
