i'm back, finally. that was a long trip. the stock show was a blast. that was the perfect trip. i couldnt wait to go, and two days before the end, i was ready to come back. it was nice being back in boulder for a few days. talk about man spa. waking up at 11 and watching espn for several hours. what could be better? as fun as that was, i was itching to get to denver. the stock show was crazy this year. they have been hosting record crowds almost every day so far. when it closes sunday night, they should have a new record. probably close to 700,000 visitors! the only problem was paying $6 for a beer. although the saloon had happy hour from 7 to 10 am. there were a lot of angus events this year. there were cattle auctions almost every night. the brown palace had one of the largest. the marriott's  auction was a good time, because almost everyone there new each other. it was great to see everyone again. strange how there are groups of people that you only get to see once a year for a few days. but when everyone is together, its like there was no gap in time. the rodeos were great! the nwss final is sunday, but i couldnt stay for another week. thats just too long.  two was long enough. several friends won their rounds or placed. the stock was very strong. details of the trek will follow. for now, i need to get the store open, and get everything up and running again.
